Soulstrike is already amazing on its own, letting Subterra Sentinels finish Zombies off for good while preventing them from reviving at an inconvenient time. Although the benefits of that are clear, this alone is hardly worth the Catfruit, making this True Form a largely unnecessary upgrade, unless as a mean to make Talents available.įor starters, Strengthen and Attack Buff are rather useful Talents to boost their effectiveness against Zombies, finishing them off quicker and increasing the chances of Subterra Sentinels getting that final hit off with Zombie Killer. Thermae is very effective against Zombies due to these factors.Ī simple attack buff is all this unit gets. Lastly, Thermae has a large knockback count which is needed for Zombies: if they burrow into their range, it will take Thermae at most 2 knockbacks until they get out of the Zombie's range and can start attacking again. Thermae's slow speed makes them a better anti-Zombie, as it allows them to not stray too far from the Cat Base, being able to effectively take them out with Omni Strike, as explained in the first paragraph. Thermae's multi-hit increases the overall duration of their freeze, making it much more effective, with their fast attack cycle also tying into how effective the freeze is as well. This Cat isn't the best for general use, but can be used as an anti- burrowing Cat, as it will attack long enough for the Zombie to rise from its burrow, then, if there is another enemy, will attack again and hit the Zombie behind it.
